BikerGods

I'm not really good at identifying models yet, so please be kind and tell me what year and model you have.  I reserve the right to make shit up based on what I see in the background if you don't include any information for me.  In fact, I reserve the right to make shit up, period.

Wheelie!

Above, Dan's 2000 X1, the way it should be ridden.

To the left, a more sedate version.

Jeff didn't give me much info on this one.  I'm guessing it's an X1 (no, I still can't tell what they are without looking at the name)  He rides on an island 100 miles SW of Miami where the speed limit is 25 and there's one whole turn (at 15mph, no less).  Now there's true Buell love....

Mark's '99 M2 (Thanks for telling me what it is! )

Nice paint job, too.

Andy's '00 M2

(Now y'all are getting the idea)

I've read that yellow makes you go faster.  Wonder if it's true?  And if it is, does Andy go twice as fast as Mark?

Andy's New & Improved '00 M2

. o O ( screw waiting for winter to do my mods.... )

Updates include bar end mirrors, a Banke tail piece, turn signals, billet pegs, and according to Andy 'etc'  Unfortunately, you're on your own figuring out what 'etc' is

Rocky's X1 (Millennium?)

I don't see any mods (not that THAT means much....) so I'll just have to make up stuff.  There used to be lots of grass, but parking the fleet of Porsches in the yard killed it.  They had to be sold when the stock market dropped, so that's why they're not in the picture.  The family dog will have to go before the Buell does...

Kevin sent lots of pictures (AND information)  Kevin was also smart enough to complement the Goddess in his email, so he gets a bigger section....  And if you can't read the text between the two pictures, widen your window or increase your monitor resolution.  I like it that way and I'm not fixing it so people with decade old machines can read it.

'96 S2T ->

Only 400 T's made at the factory, and he had to hit Barney with it....

<- '98 S1W (Black & White is soooo retro ;-) Is that another Buell I see going on in the background?  Must be the Deal's Gap thing I forgot to bring beer for (just don't even ask)....

About the pic with Kevin in it - it was taken in September 2000 at Du Quoin, IL (oh, yeah! Du Quoin!....) for the final AMA Grand National mile race. Something about Will Davis winning even though they didn't finish the race due to rain. Something about the picture being taken by a guy who owns an ISP in St. Louis. Something about the other bike winning the dyno shoot-out at the '98 Homecoming and not playing poker with the owner of said bike.  And I probably shouldn't make updates when I'm in a pissy mood...

<*note: it IS another Buell.. See below for John's S3T>

The Tilley Buell is on the left (it's the one with "Tilley Buell" on the side)  On the right is the Vincent.  I don't know what the hell either one of them is, but the seat looks really, really uncomfortable.  (sure, you can send me info, but it'll make my comment look less witty, so I probably won't post it.  And if you already know why these bikes are important, then it doesn't matter that I didn't tell you again.  Ya know, I really like having my own forum where I can say anything I like and no one gets to talk back.

Kevin gets two areas (mostly because I can't get the freakin' pictures to go where I want them)  Here's the latest:

This looks damn uncomfortable to ride (even more so than the Vincent...)

Here's the M2 after being rebuilt but before being sold to a 'youngster' as his first street bike.

Pappy's 2000 M2 (sorry about the delay in posting, but the deadalienbrewery account is for naked pics only.  I'm sure the disappointment kept him from forwarding it...)

I see that the 'breadbox' has been replaced with something much more stylish.  (and why is that so hard to do at the factory?)  Also see a new headlight, mirrors, and seat.  That's about all I can tell though.  Oh, and those flags....wonder what they mean?

Here's John's 97 S3T that won the dyno shoot-out at homecoming in 98 (I think I got that right)  Apparently John doesn't like his baby being in the background because he sent me this pic after spying his behind Kevin's.  Next mods include big bore cylinders and ported heads.

Oh, and it does appear to be the Deal's Gap thing I forgot to bring beer for.

Maybe next year, on my Firebolt......

Buelln sent a pic of Crackli'n Rose, his '99 X1.  They live in Albany, NY (where the cops now recognize his plate).  He claims all the custom work is his, so I guess we'll let him have it....  Paint job is cool, nonetheless.

Kyle's YSR is our first non-Buell submission.  I'm thinking this might be a bike I could ride....

[Kyle sold it, so now it's someone else's.  I like the picture though, so I'll keep it up until he finishes his latest project and sends me another picture.]

Bill sent this picture of himself with the wife and ex-wife (a '99 M2).  He tells me he'll send a pic of the new wife (a black '02 M2) when he gets one taken.

Bill either lives in San Antonio or San Angelo and it sounds like he might be making plans to attend the 2nd Annual Thrills in the Hills event.

Because it takes so long to load, I've split the God page into multiple pages.  You can find the rest of the photos here and here and here and here.
