Even More BikerGods

Here's where I run out of cute things to say about the fourth page of BikerGods.

Void* (his screenname on GlockTalk, guess he doesn't trust me or something) starts out our fourth BikerGods page with his brand spanking new Kawasaki Vulcan 800 Classic.  He says it's 'fun'.  I would think riding a new bike on the only wet leaves in the parking lot would be something other than 'fun' but I'm getting old and crotchety.  It is kinda cool looking, though.

I've kinda been slacking recently, and I apologize.  Howard sent this pic of his '01 Blast back in March. It was stock in this pic except graphics and handlebars. He'd reworked the end, but it's not in this pic.  He's probably made more mods since then, but thinks I'm a worthless webmistress and won't send them.

While cleaning out my mailbox, I found several pictures I'd not gotten posted.  Sorry.  I have some excuses, but I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter at this point, so here's Michael with his '03 HD Heritage Classic (and camper) at the Rider's Roost campground in South Carolina.  This trip included the Blue Ride Parkway, Smokey Mountains, Baton Rouge, Indianapolis Motorspeedway, and the 'ride home' to Milwaukee.

Richard sent in this '00 "M3". I guess that's an upgraded Cyclone...

He didn't supply any info on the bike and I'm too embarrassed to go back now and ask for more information.  So, I guess I'll have to make up stuff for this one.

It's too obvious to make fun of the lawn and patio furniture. But what the hell - since gas has gone up so dramatically in the last year, Richard's family has forsaken watering the lawn so that he can ride.  Next, the Adirondack loungers were traded in for the charming blue plastic ones (Hey, I'm not dissing plastic, my gun's plastic...) but there wasn't enough left over for a table.

The next item up on the chopping block will be the lawnmower, since it's not really needed any longer.  After that's gone, I'm afraid he'll just have to start siphoning gas from the neighbor's truck.

Look, Ma! No hands!

While I can't really condone riding without safety gear or taking both hands off the controls, Mike's submission had me nearly falling off my seat with laughter.  Ok, I can't really condone flipping one's mother off, either, no matter how many times she asks if you're still planning on keeping that death trap, thank you very much.  He's riding his '02 Cyclone he got used (well, 1300 miles in 2 years barely constitutes "used") on the Fourth of July.  Happy Independence Day!  He's doubled the miles in a month.  Some of those miles *obviously* well used....

This pic looks to be before the mods, which include getting rid of the breadbox air filter and installing a new D&D pipe.  He got his from Houston, somehow.  Me, I picked mine up at the shop in Ft. Worth.  But I suppose when you're from Ohio, Texas all just looks the same.

The jap bike...I mean Honda Ascot... is on the right.  He wanted 'something fun, but kinda rare.' Maybe I'm sheltered, but wouldn't that be the Buell?  Anyhow, ride what you like, blah blah blah.

Bonus Points: For sending a follow-up email making sure no one was offended by the 'bird' picture.  Bwahahahahahahaa

Patrick sent two pics, but in the interest of gender fairness, I've put Cynthia's picture on the Goddess' page.  They're both riding (ok, sitting on) a 2001 Nightrain.

He didn't give me much to go on (ok, nothing) and I can't tell what kind of car it is (I'm thinking 'Stang, but it almost doesn't look aggressive enough, and while I might spend a lot of time looking at rear ends, it's usually not of cars)

Update: Who says old bikers can't be taught new tricks? Of course, it's only hard to get men to talk about feelings, not bikes...

And since I don't know what most of this means, I'll just say what he said. It now has samson sidewinders (it used to have groundpounders), it's been lowered, had the bars raised with the wires internal on six inch pull back risers (it now has 16'' apes), a fatter rear tire, an s&s air cleaner on the fuel injection, corbin seat, derby and points covers from nyc choppers, a beautiful flame paint job on the tank, old school sissy bar, eighty spoke chrome front wheel with chrome lower forks.

Dyna sent these two pictures of himself (on the left) and his grandson (on the right (again, it never hurts to state the obvious)).  He has a blue R1, but still hangs out with the Buell folks.  Since the Blast is the littlest Buell, the grandson gets a Kawasaki.  But I always say it's not what you ride, it's that you ride.
Ralph sent a pic of his old ride and his new ride, which is much better, of course, being a Buell and all.  He lives in Canberra, Australia.  Where you can ride this time of year (see below for what it's like in the other hemisphere...)

It looks like Ralph took his first pic of his '03 XB9R outside the dealership right after signing the paperwork.  But hey, that's a good thing - shows his excitement.  And I mean, who wouldn't be excited?

I'm cold just looking at this picture.  Mike had sent pics of his '03 Firebolt previously, but wanted to show what it looked like on ice.  It's pretty and all, but I'd rather be riding...

On to the next page...
